Paediatric Basic Life Support e Defibrillation
The DAN Paediatric Basic Life Support & Defibrillation PBLS(D) course represents an integration of the DAN Basic Life Support (Adult) course. This programme is designed to teach you the skills necessary to manage Cardiac Arrest of paediatric victim with the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
DAN Paediatric Basic Life Support & Defibrillation PBLS(D)
The DAN Paediatric Basic Life Support & Defibrillation PBLS(D) course is designed for anyone wishing to learn first aid techniques specific for children and infants. The programme includes the development of knowledge and practical skills for the management of Cardiac Arrest and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction of both child and infant, combining PBLS techniques with the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
The DAN PBLSD course is strongly recommended for childcare professionals and for those who live or work with children (e.g. teachers, sports coaches, parents and grandparents).
Main objectives
- Paediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS): child and infant
- Paediatric resuscitation: child and infant
- Foreign Body Airway Obstruction
- Use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
Course duration
3 hours (in addition to the DAN BLSD Adult session)
